Free GEO scan · three web-search checks

When customers ask AI,
does it recommend you?

We use an AI assistant to run three web searches: a branded check, a local category check and a buyer-intent check. We show what the search evidence supports — or say when a check is inconclusive. This is not a direct query of ChatGPT or Perplexity.

Questions

What is GEO?

Generative Engine Optimisation means making information about your business clear, consistent and easy for search and AI-assisted discovery systems to understand and cite.

How does the scan work?

An AI assistant runs three web searches: one branded query ("your business, reviews"), one local category query ("best [what you do] in [your area]") and one buyer-intent query ("[what you do] near [area] recommendations"). It reviews those search results; it does not query ChatGPT, Perplexity or their recommendation indexes. A timeout or unclear evidence is shown as inconclusive rather than a failure.

Why don't I show up?

AI engines cite sources they can parse and trust: structured data on your site, consistent business details across the web, reviews, and pages that answer buyer questions directly. Most SME websites were built for Google's old rules — that's fixable, and your report tells you where to start.
